Combine studies in business with commerce and accounting to become a skilled business adviser.

In this program you gain qualifications in both business and commerce. In the commerce component, you major in accounting and study financial accounting, business finance, law of business associations, company accounting, management accounting, taxation law and practice, contemporary accounting issues, and auditing and professional practice. A second business major builds advanced skills in other business areas. A capstone course develops understanding in corporate governance and corporate social responsibility.

Career opportunities

Depending on the majors chosen: accounting, business management, human resource management, marketing management, international business, tourism and hospitality management, retail/sales, systems analysis.

  • Completing this program within the specified (full-time) duration is based on studying 48 unit points per semester (normally 4 courses).
  • Courses within this program are assessed using a variety of assessment methods including essays, seminar presentations, reports, in-class tests and examinations. Not all courses will necessarily include all methods.
