Hands-on training is an important part of how UniSC prepares its students for life in the workforce. Most of our degrees include some form of internship, practicum, placement, industry project or field experience to make sure you’re ready for the job you want.

At UniSC, these work experience opportunities are broadly called ‘Work Integrated Learning’ (WIL) and are incorporated into many of our degrees, giving you the opportunity to put theory into practice.

You’ll develop personal and professional skills, establish job networks, and find out what it’s like to work in your area of study.

Students undertaking WIL can demonstrate knowledge and skills employers look for in graduates.

Experience also can be recorded on a resume and added to a professional portfolio.
