Callum Lee, Bachelor of Laws / Bachelor of Commerce (Financial Planning) graduate
“While I was at uni I had the opportunity to work at the same time in firms, I found the study I was doing was helping me become familiar with the ‘language’ of law, and how to think about the matters we take on daily. The best advice I have for someone considering studying law is that the study of law is about learning a way of thinking about problems, it teaches how to break down a problem and look for the way(s) to work through it. It teaches you communication styles, it teaches you people skills. It is tough, but you come out the other side with readily available skills that are useful in lots of careers, not just being a lawyer.”
