Program overview

The Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Business (Design and Marketing) gives you the opportunity to combine advanced skills in computer-based art and design and multimedia with a major in marketing. In the marketing portion of the program, you will learn how to design, develop, implement and manage effective marketing strategies and analyse buying patterns and market potential.

In the design portion of the program, you will develop skills through practical and theoretical studies in graphic design, electronic media design (web and multimedia), digital publishing, visual communication and advertising. You have the opportunity to develop a professional-quality portfolio of work.

A minor from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences gives you the ability to explore other areas of interest and broaden the scope of your degree and career prospects.

Knowledge and skills acquired through the Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Business (Design and Marketing) are transferable across many sectors such as government, education, the arts, commerce, and industry.
