The first data set has been published and is available from the NCBI (National Center for Biotechnology Information) or in full via UniSC's Research Bank.

What's next?

Stay tuned for release of the Asparagopsis Genome Browser in 2023. There will be many other searchable datasets include gene names and ID, KEGG pathways, protein families, Pfam domains and gene ontology. Functional annotations, gene assembly and sequences will also be available for free download.

As we continue our journey of discovery, we will be posting our insights and new papers on this multi-omics database platform. We invite you to explore Asparagopsis taxiformis genetics with us to help further seaweed research and its wide range of benefits for the planet and those who inhabit it.
