LivingWorks safeYARN is half-day training in how to recognise Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people who are thinking about suicide and connect them to a resource who can help them choose life.

Suitable for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander workforces, communities and people who work within their communities.

Delivered by First Nations trainers.

Building on the success of I-ASIST, safeYARN delivers safeTALK in a culturally appropriate way. Attendees will learn how to notice and respond to a First Nations person who may be having thoughts of suicide and how to apply yarning into the TALK (Tell, Ask, Listen, KeepSafe) steps.
