This scholarship supports students with demonstrated financial need commencing study in the Bachelor of Midwifery undergraduate program at UniSC.
As part of the Queensland Government's recent commitment to drive reform and improvements across the state's public maternity services, Queensland Health would like to provide scholarship funding to assist UniSC Bachelor of Midwifery students.
The Clinical Excellence Queensland Midwifery Scholarship is specifically for students experiencing financial hardship. Each scholarship is valued at $10,000, paid in lump sum instalments each semester throughout the normal duration of the program:
- $1,000 per semester in the first year
- $1,500 per semester in the second year
- $2,500 per semester in the third year
Please Note: Students will be expected to maintain full-time enrolment in their program throughout the period of their scholarship. This scholarship is offered on a yearly basis through funds provided by an external donor. If funding is not available in any given year, the scholarship will not be awarded.
