Want to spend 2 weeks immersing in university life in Japan while learning Japanese language, culture and making new friends? How does doing that while having your flights, accommodation and program fees covered sound? Our New Colombo Plan sponsored Japanese Language and Cultural Study Tour runs in July 2024 and is open to eligible UniSC students. The program takes place in Osaka, connecting with our partners at Otemon Gakuin University and involves language classes, field trips to cultural sites in Osaka and historic Kyoto, opportunities to participate in cultural activities such as Japanese calligraphy, kendo, shogi, flower arrangement, dance and music performances, as well as plenty of time to hang out with local university students.
Places are highly limited and priority will be given to students with excellent academic records and those undertaking Japanese study at UniSC.
