UniSC, in collaboration with the Department of Employment, Small Business and Training (DESBT) and Jobs Queensland (JQ), offer a suite of free microcredential courses designed to help businesses and regions establish the fundamentals for long term success.
Workforce Planning for Business Course
Understand and develop an agile, flexible workforce plan that responds to a fast-changing business environment. This course is suitable for business owners, business professionals who support small-medium enterprises and, People and Culture/Human Resources professionals.
Date: Thursday 20 June 2024
Time: 2 hours per week for 7 weeks
Delivery mode: Onsite or online
Location: Cairns and simultaneously online
Cost: Free (State Government funded)
The course will also be offered at 3 other locations later in the year.
Workforce Planning for Regions Course
A specialised course designed for Queensland local government and Regional Jobs Committee staff who wish to develop a regional workforce plan that aligns to the demands within their region or their economic development strategy. Economic development teams are encouraged to send attendees.

Tailored to meet the needs of Queensland small business owners/managers, this microcredit course focuses on developing customised business plans by employing essential strategic management principles.

Continuity Planning Course
This comprehensive 7-week microcredit course, led by Dr Wayne Graham, is designed to equip Queensland business owners and managers with the tools to develop a robust business continuity plan.
