All domestic students are required to submit their TPP application through the Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre (QTAC) to gain a place at USC.
Assistance with completing your TPP application is available from QTAC and USC.
The QTAC website offers information about how to apply, ordering your preferences and responding to your offer. Video demonstrations are available to guide you through the application process.
You are able to contact Student Central for help with your application. Phone, email or make an appointment to have our staff assist you.
Step 1: Submit your application
- Apply online via QTAC for TPP.
- On the QTAC website click on On-line services
- Current Year 12 students should select Twelve to Tertiary Instructions
- All other applicants should select Non Year 12 Students – Apply by Web instructions
- You have the option to try a demonstration application
- When you are ready to complete your applications click on Apply Now
- Use the QTAC code for TPP: 019901
- International students must complete an International Student Application Form.
TPP Educational Access Grant
When applying via QTAC there is an application fee which may be reimbursed.
TPP applicants who are experiencing financial difficulty that may inhibit them from applying via QTAC may be eligible for a TPP Educational Access Grant. The Grant will reimburse the cost of the QTAC application fee for eligible students.
Step 2: Assessment of application
QTAC will assess your application and your status can be tracked using the Current Applicant Online Services.
Step 3: Offers
QTAC will notify successful applicants of their offer to study by email and SMS.
Successful applicants will also receive an offer pack in the mail from USC within three business days of the QTAC offer rounds.
The offer pack provides information about how to access USCCentral to accept your offer and enrol in your TPP courses.

Deferring your TPP place
Successful TPP applicants can defer the commencement of their studies for up to two years. This means your place can be held for you until you are ready to commence.
After the two year period has elapsed applicants must reapply via the QTAC process outlined above.
