Program requirements

In order to graduate you must:

  • Prior to 2015, undertake via external mode, courses denoted with # at the University of Southern Queensland (USQ). Enrolment in these courses may involve travel and attendance at the Toowoomba campus for block intensive practical classes. Students must meet all costs associated with travel and accommodation. *
  • Prior to 2015, complete practical courses listed below, the total hours are dependent on the major undertaken. These courses are graded as a Pass or Fail. There is no fee for these courses and they are zero unit value. These courses are delivered in intensive blocks in February and September at the University of Southern Queensland Toowoomba campus. Students may enrol in these courses in Years 2, 3 or 4 of their program. Students must meet all costs associated with travel and accommodation.*
  • Apply to enrol in USQ courses, via Student Administration office in C Block, on the appropriate form and submitt to USQ prior to their Cross Institutionally closing date. *
  • Select a major in either Construction or Environment and Water.
  • Select a minor from one of the minors as listed below. Students must choose the minor to be studied before the completion of Semester 1, Year 3.
  • Register your selected major and minor with your Faculty.
  • Complete a minimum of 60 days of suitable work experience. Students must meet all costs associated with the acquisition of practical experience to satisfy this requirement.
  • Apply to enrol in USQ courses via Student Administration on the appropriate form and prior to the USQ Cross Institutionally closing date.*
