The Bachelor of Business develops skills applicable to many areas of employment and provides you with a general education on which to build a lifetime career.

In this program you gain a strong grounding in business and have the flexibility to design the degree to suit your needs. Foundation courses include economics, management, marketing, research methods, accounting, business law and ethics, and informatics. You then choose courses in specialised streams, generally to gain in-depth knowledge in one discipline (major) and broad knowledge in another discipline (minor).

Depending on the major chosen, business management, human resource management, marketing management, market research, international business, importing/exporting, industrial relations, tourism and hospitality management, retail/sales, computing, systems analysis.

Professional recognition

Students and graduates may become members/associate members of various Australian professional bodies depending on their study specialisations.

Select 13 advanced courses, which may comprise a selection of majorsminors and/or electives, up to a minimum of 24 courses in total. A minimum of 7 of these courses must be chosen from the Faculty of Business. Up to 6 courses may be chosen from the faculties of Business, Arts and Social Sciences or Science, Health and Education.
