Program overview


The Associate Degree in Business provides an alternative entry pathway to a business degree at USC.

In two years of full-time study, you will develop a broad business knowledge, including an understanding of generic business principles. You will also choose an area of specialisation, and complete four courses (a minor) in one of the following areas:

  • Entrepreneurship
  • Financial Planning
  • Human Resource Management
  • International Business
  • Information Systems
  • Management
  • Marketing
  • Property and Asset Management
  • Tourism, Leisure and Events Management

    Program requirements and notes

    1. All students must complete a minimum of 16 courses including core courses, in the Associate Degree in Business.

    5. Students should consider enrolling in relevant enabling courses.
    6. Only a full-time study option is available to international students.
    7. Courses within this program are assessed using a variety of assessment methods including, for example, essays, seminar presentations, reports, in-class tests, and examinations.
