The following qualifications provide credit into the Bachelor of Social Science (Community Work) and the Bachelor of Social Science (Counselling). Students may also be eligible for credit towards other degree programs.

Lifeline Certificate IV in Telephone Counselling Skills graduates receive credit for:

  • 2 introductory Arts and Social Science electives
  • 1 introductory Social and Community Studies course
  • 1 advanced Social and Community Studies course

Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors Diploma of Professional Counselling graduates receive credit for:

  • 3 introductory Arts and Social Sciences electives
  • 1 advanced Arts and Social Sciences elective
  • 1 advanced Social and Community Studies course
  • 2 advanced Counselling courses
  • SCS280 Counselling for the Human Services Professional

Quest College Certificate IV in Counselling graduates receive advanced standing for:

  • 2 introductory Arts and Social Sciences electives
  • 1 advanced Counselling course

Quest College Advanced Diploma of Counselling graduates receive advanced standing for:

  • 3 introductory Arts and Social Sciences electives
