Program overview

The Graduate Certificate in Social Science (Community Services Management) is designed to provide studies in human resource management equivalent to those available within the higher levels of a Bachelor degree, combined with advanced level courses in social and community studies.

The program develops skills in community services management that are essential in a range of human services positions and provides an opportunity to gain a qualification that has relevance, currency and credibility. The program also offers the opportunity for people with extensive community service industry experience to secure a formal qualification.

This Graduate Certificate articulates into the Graduate Diploma in Social Science (Community Services Management).

Admission requirements

Students entering the Graduate Certificate in Social Science (Community Services Management) are required to have an undergraduate degree or its equivalent from a recognised higher education institution. The degree must be in an area different from human resource management.

The program is currently offered to Australian and New Zealand citizens, Australian permanent residents, and international students.
