If you are artistically minded and tech savvy, consider a career in visual communications. Gain the functional skills required to work as a graphic designer or creative director, or apply your acquired knowledge to a cross-disciplinary field.

Learn how graphic designers create graphics that communicate messages and evoke responses through the use of colour, texture, typography, images and symbols. This major allows you to experience all aspects of the design process, specialise in a particular field, or combine interests in layout design, advertising, photography, illustration or branding.

You will be guided by industry experts and gain access to workplace internships and unique placement opportunities. As part of your studies, you will learn how to produce successful user-centred designs that address legal, environmental, social and ethical issues.

Develop your visual creativity and graduate with a portfolio of professional work to present to prospective employers.
