Sustainability

Chart a sustainable future today. Students in either of USC's faculties may have room in their program to undertake a four course minor in Sustainability or an eight course major in Sustainability - Society.

You may want to study sustainability to understand the environment better, pursue research opportunities or play your part in promoting sustainable practices. You can apply the principles of sustainability to your career, to a business idea, or to your everyday lifestyle.

Sustainability minor

To complete a minor in Sustainability, students must successfully complete 4 courses:

SUS101 Research Methods and Analysis 1
SUS201 Introduction to Psychology B
SUS202 Physiological Psychology
SUS302 Introduction to Human Development

Sustainability - Society major

For a major in Sustainability - Society, students must successfully complete 8 courses:

ENS300 Research Methods and Analysis 2
SUS101 Social Psychology
SUS201 Motivation and Emotion
SUS202 Interpersonal and Group Skills
SUS302 Advanced Methods in Psychology

PLUS select 1 course from:

SUS310 Intercultural and Indigenous Psychologies
ENP336 Personality and Assessment

PLUS select 2 courses from:

ENP245 Psychology of Health and Wellbeing
ENP365 Cognitive and Perceptual Psychology
SCS201 Human Associative Learning

*All students other than enrolled in AR404 Bachelor of Regional and Urban Planning (Honours) must choose SUS310

** Students enrolled in AR404 Bachelor of Regional and Urban Planning (Honours) must complete ENP336 .
