Step 3: Complete and submit your application

Complete and submit the application form

Complete the Headstart application form (PDF 258KB) and nominate the course you want to study.

Attach any relevant supporting documentation — this may include awards, achievements or references that demonstrate your suitability for the program. The list of required supporting documentation is contained in the Headstart Applicant Checklist on the last page of the application form.

If you are applying for a Headstart scholarship, you must also provide a 200-300 word statement detailing your reasons for applying.

Tick through the application checklist to make sure you have addressed all of the criteria and included all your supporting documentation - this is important!

Hand your completed application form and supporting documentation to your school’s Headstart Coordinator. They will complete the School's Statement of Support and then forward your application to USC by the due date.

If your application is successful

The University will send you an official email offer by late December for study in Semester 1 or by the end of June for study in Semester 2. Follow the instructions provided in your official offer to Getting started at USC.

Orientation information and instructions about choosing your class times will be sent to you prior to Orientation in January.

If your application is unsuccessful

You will receive formal notification from the University.
