In this program you examine the complex interaction of behaviours and conditions of living that impact on the health and wellbeing of individuals, families, groups, and communities. These include the social, economic, cultural, organisational, and political conditions in which people live. The health promotion component covers needs assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.

Program requirements
In order to graduate you must:
- Complete 2 core courses 22 required courses, 4 advanced electives from the School of Communication and School of Social Sciences and 4 electives from the Faculty of Science, Health, Education and Engineering.
- Complete no more than 5 introductory level courses from the School of Communication and School of Social Sciences.
- Register your selected Minors with Student Administration.

- Completing this program within the specified (full-time) duration is based on studying 48 unit points per semester (normally 4 courses).
