In this program you develop advanced Japanese language skills and a solid foundation in business, with a focus on international business. As well as Japanese, you study business issues, cross-cultural differences and impact on business, politics and government relations, international diplomacy and trade, e-business, and international finance. The international business component has a strong focus on Asia. Japanese study provides a complementary skill, giving you a regional business advantage.

In order to graduate you must:
- Complete 12 required courses and 2 electives from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, 16 courses from the Faculty of Business, and 2 core courses.
- Complete a maximum of 5 introductory level courses from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.

- Completing this program within the specified (full-time) duration is based on studying 48 unit points per semester (normally 4 courses).
- Courses within this program are assessed using a variety of assessment methods including essays, seminar presentations, reports, in-class tests and examinations. Not all courses will necessarily include all methods.
