Recommended enrolment pattern for students commencing Semester 1, 2010

  • This full-time enrolment pattern is designed to comply with program requirements. Variations are possible but should only be considered in consultation with the program adviser.
  • Students with credit from prior tertiary study should consult their program adviser for recommended enrolment.
  • Course offerings may change without notice. Consult the course schedule to confirm when courses are offered.

Plus select 1 course towards your chosen Social Science minor

Semester 1, 2011

SCS230 Introduction to Tourism, Leisure and Events
Plus select 1 course towards your chosen Social Science major
Plus select 1 course towards your chosen Social Science minor

Semester 2, 2011

SCS225 Tourism, Leisure and Special Interests
Plus select 2 courses towards your chosen Social Science major

Notes
  1. No more than 10 introductory level courses may be completed, including core courses, in the Bachelor of Social Science.
  2. No courses may be counted towards more than one major or minor.
  3. Required courses in the program, such as SCS110 Technology and Innovation in Tourism, Leisure and Events, SCS230 Communication and Thought and SCS225 Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship, may count towards some majors and minors. In this case, students would have to take additional elective/s to meet the program requirements.
