Program overview

The demands of management in today's business world require an increasing range of skills in all facets of business. Graduate training in management and business administration can complement and enhance the skills you have gained in the workplace, or add value to existing qualifications - fast tracking your career ambitions.

Our graduate business programs begin with a four-course Graduate Certificate in Business Administration, which can articulate into the Graduate Diploma and the Master of Business Administration.

Flexible study modes: on campus, online, or multi-modal

On campus and online study modes are available for this program. Multi-modal study provides further flexibility whereby students can study in one or more modes simultaneously to suit work or lifestyle commitments. For example, online students are able to attend lectures on campus should they wish to. This option is not available for international students studying on a student visa.

Admission requirements

A Bachelor's degree from a recognised higher education institution and a minimum of two years' relevant work experience are the requirements for entering the Graduate Certificate in Business Administration program.

Applicants without an undergraduate degree must have at least three years' relevant work experience and also:

  • must pass a qualifying Business Select Entrance Test or approved equivalent examination, eg Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT)
  • may be required to undertake an interview

Enrolment via this pathway is limited to 10 percent of total applicants.

English language requirement:

Applicants whose first language is other than English must demonstrate an appropriate level of English proficiency by providing evidence of successful completion, within the last five years, of one of the qualifications below:

  • IELTS - 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 6.0 in all subtests, or
  • TOEFL - 575 with TWE of 5 (paper-based test) or 230 (computer-based test), or
  • Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English - Level A Pass, or
  • previous degree completed in English

International student need to refer to the English language requirements.

Program requirements

Students are required to successfully complete 4 courses from those listed below. Students wishing to study full-time will be required to take the courses as offered in each session of study. Refer to the Academic Rules for further information.
