Program overview
To be an information systems professional you must have a healthy curiosity - a desire to learn about new technologies and apply them to business problems.
Technology is developing at breakneck speed, and as an information systems professional your thirst for knowledge ensures you keep up-to-date and always on the lookout for new ways to use technology creatively.
The Information Systems degree develops skills in systems analysis, programming, database management, electronic commerce and information systems management.
Students can apply to undertake first-year courses in this program at the USC Noosa Centre. Please note that the option to study at Noosa is not available to international students.

Career opportunities
Knowledge and skills acquired through the Bachelor of Business (Information Systems) are transferable across many sectors such as government, education, the arts, commerce, and industry. Depending on minor and majors chosen, opportunities may include academia, computer systems officer, database administrator / designer / developer, electronic commerce consultant, information systems consultant / manager, lecturer aid, network support, project manager, programmer, risk management services, systems analyst / auditor / designer, user support, and web analyst / designer / developer.
