Credit
The University will award credit for previous study, particularly in areas directly related to the program in which prospective students seek to enrol.
In addition, the Faculty of Arts and Social Science has identified University courses for which credit will be given in the following programs:
Articulation
The University has articulation arrangements with VET/TAFE institutions. The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences has a range of articulation pathways with Sunshine Coast TAFE, including:
- Diploma of Community Welfare Work/Bachelor of Social Science
- Diploma of Photoimaging/Bachelor of Arts
- Diploma of Visual Arts-Fine Arts/Bachelor of Arts
The University also has an articulation arrangement with Griffith University for students who complete the Bachelor of Regional and Urban Planning and wish to go onto Griffith's Graduate Diploma of Environmental Planning. Students articulating from the former program to the latter will be eligible for 40 credit points advanced standing. This will leave students with 80 credit points to complete for the Graduate Diploma of Environmental Planning, which may be done in 1 year of full-time study or 2 years of part-time study.
