Preparation Before the Day
- Establish Routines Early: Start your school-day routines (bedtime, morning wake-up, etc.) a few days beforehand to ease the transition.
- Organize Supplies: Make sure backpacks, lunchboxes, and any needed forms are ready to go. Let your child help to build excitement!
- Review the Schedule: Go over the school schedule, drop-off, and pick-up times, and any after-school activities to avoid surprises.
- Practice the Route: If it’s a new school or grade, take a practice run to familiarize your child with the route.
