This work presented a number of student collaborations for the University of Missouri, St. Louis Visiting Artist lecture series.

Taking a break from normal classroom work, students created silkscreen 'event' posters for the series, offering an opportunity to ruminate on concepts that students study in class including tone, style, inventive typography, mixed media form-making, and visual narrative. Time spent outside the classroom situation and away from the computer screen offered students a new environment for assimilating ideas, process and techniques while participating in the refreshingly active and visually vibrant world of hand silkscreen techniques.

The results were influenced by mixed media techniques and classwork and are infused with the energy that can only be recorded by designers having fun.
