Scholarship applications for Semester 2, 2024 are now closed.
The Queensland Hydro Bursary will support full-time continuing students with financial need, enrolled in undergraduate engineering programs at the Sunshine Coast campus.
Queensland Hydro has been tasked to deliver, operate and maintain the long-duration energy storage assets we need to confidently transition Queensland to a clean energy future. Their Borumba Pumped Hydro Project will provide the stability and reliability our energy system needs to keep the lights on when the sun isn't shining and the wind isn't blowing.
They're playing a major role in supporting our regions, ensuring our local communities are ready for the jobs of tomorrow. Bringing their game-changing Borumba Project to life will take a significant workforce, and their goal is to provide pathways and incentives to grow and build capability in the region.
The bursaries will be valued at A$2,500 and paid in 8 equal fortnightly instalments over Semester 2.
Please Note: This bursary is offered on a yearly basis through funds provided by an external donor. If funding is not available in any given year, the bursary will not be awarded.
