Join us for this one-week program visiting Vietnam, including Hanoi, Ha Long Bay and Ho Chi Minh City.
The study program includes:
- A compulsory online pre-departure orientation session, and follow-up class before departure.
- Students study MBA730 Contemporary and Emerging Issues in Business, including both guided and independent learning experiences online, and activities in international settings, held over eight days.
- Approximately 20-30 hours dedicated to actively engaging in learning and assessment activities.
- Pre-tour and post-tour assessment tasks to be completed which relate to the international experience.
- Approximately 30 hours of experiential learning where students undertake a combination of company site, and business institution visits and cultural experiences relevant to the destination.
The study tour is designed to be interactive, collaborative and reflective. The international experience will provide students with a greater understanding of how the business and cultural environment impacts on business and management decision making and how these insights can be transferred across international boundaries.
Key dates
- 11 August 2024: Expressions of interest due date (can extend in exceptional circumstances please contact Dr Jane Menzies)
- 9 October 2024: Compulsory in-person/online pre-departure orientation session, 6–8pm
- 30 October 2024: Compulsory in-person/online class 6-8pm to Present Assignment 1
- 3 November 2024: Study Tour Begins, please arrive into Hanoi by this date, ready to start at 11am
- 10 November 2024: Study Tour Ends by 12pm. You may Depart Ho Chi Minh City
