Five ways to access the USC library after graduation

Are you graduating this year? Did you know USC Alumni can still access many of the library resources and spaces?

1. Access library databases off campus

You can still access selected library databases off campus, but you will access them through a different website. When you select a database from the list, login using your USC network username and password to gain full access.

2. Access library databases and resources on campus

You can visit any USC library during community hours and use the Catalogue PC to access journal articles, ebooks and databases. You can download some resources and save them to a USB or external hard drive for non-commercial purposes.

3. Borrow books from the library

You will need to register online each year if you wish to borrow physical items. A new library card will be provided which you will need for borrowing in-person from any USC library. You can borrow a maximum of 10 items from the General or Curriculum collections with a loan period of up to 14 days. A new login will be provided for My Library Account (separate from your USC network login) which you will need to check your current loans and renew eligible loans.

4. Use the library spaces

You are welcome to visit any USC library during community hours to use our spaces or physical resources for individual, private study.

5. Contact the library

USC Alumni may contact the library via online chatemailtelephone, or visit the library help desk on campus during staffed hours.

Visit Library information for USC Alumni to learn more about how the library supports you after graduation.
