Chris Kingswell first became a registered nurse in 2007 working in the Emergency Departments at Redcliffe Hospital and Hervey Bay Hospital. While working at Hervey Bay, Chris conducted a qualitative study of the patient experience of ambulance ramping, as an honours project.
In 2016 Chris moved into tertiary education as a sessional teacher, taking up a position as Lecturer in Nursing in 2017.
Prior to nursing, Chris served in the Australian Army, deploying on peacekeeping operations in Timor Leste.
