Blake Palmer is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and Lecturer at UniSC where he educates future health professionals in the nutrition and dietetics programs. He has a First Class Honours in Nutrition & Dietetics and is currently completing his PhD at Griffith University.
Blake is dedicated to challenging Australia's drinking culture. His research focuses on exploring the potential of low alcohol beverages to moderate the drinking behaviours of young Australians. Increases in the availability and diversity of lower alcohol products presents an opportunity to foster more responsible drinking habits and reduce the personal and economic burdens associated with risky drinking. Blake's work seeks to make a public health impact by better understanding barriers to safer alcohol consumption behaviours among young Australians.
