Errika is a Defence Veteran and Management Consultant with over 36 years experience in the Australian Defence industry. Growing up in the Hunter Valley, she entered the Navy 1987, and commissioned as a Naval Officer in 1998. Errika served in numerous logistic, management and operational roles at sea and in shored based locations throughout Australia and the Middle East Region.
After entering the private sector in 1998, Errika worked with large government (Defence) major capital projects and is now self-employed providing business management and logistic engineering advisory services.
Errika is a graduate of the University of the Sunshine Coast and holds an Executive Master in Business Administration (EMBA). An Accredited Project Manager, a Fellow of the Institute of Management and a Registered Practicing Integrated Logistic Support Manager. Errika founded a Defence consulting firm – Exchange Consulting Pty Ltd in 2017.
Errika remains a member of the Royal Australian Navy Reserve and is currently serving as a Head of Department for the Navy’s Destroyer Group in Sydney.
Errika is a former Board member and Vice President of the Submarine Institute of Australia (SIA) where she led a public education campaign to promote the role of Australian submarines.
Errika is also a former Director of the Kawana Waters RSL Sub-Branch for which she received the Australian Day Medallion in 2018. Errika and her husband are residents of the Sunshine coast and active members of Queensland Surf Life Saving and philanthropists of the University of the Sunshine Coast.
