Buranga Centre Nawu Fund

The Buranga Centre Nawu Fund supports the activities of the Indigenous Services Unit

UniSC is committed to fostering opportunity and equity for all our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and colleagues, many of whom juggle work, study, and family commitments. We honour and pay our respects to each country across the UniSC geographical footprint and recognise we are fortunate to have first nations peoples from many countries at our university.

The original University of the Sunshine Coast campus is located on Gubbi Gubbi country, and with that in mind we have named our newest giving program after the Gubbi Gubbi word for ‘giving’: Nawu.

The Buranga Centre Nawu Fund supports the activities of the Indigenous Services Unit at UniSC, providing tailored funding across a range of activities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and colleagues. Supporting the Nawu Fund will help them to realise their full potential and ensure the Buranga Centre is able to continue its invaluable work within our University and wider communities.

Please consider giving to the Buranga Centre Nawu Fund. Your donations will make a significant difference.
