Five incredibly lucky high school students (and the parents/guardians who got to come too) enjoyed four days chock full of adventure in one of the most gasp-out-loud gorgeous landscapes in the world.
They got a taste of life at UniSC, with exclusive behind-the-scenes access to many exhilarating experiences, and UniSC experts on hand at every turn to expand their educational horizons (phew – that's a lot of Es).
We’re proud of our environmental focus, especially because our campus footprint sits across three UNESCO Biosphere reserves and the World Heritage-listed K’gari. So we live, work and play on some of the most ecologically important and Insta-worthy natural settings on the planet. The Best Field Trip in the World was our invitation to Year 11 and 12 students to win a one-of-a-kind experience to our beautiful home.
A real-life UniSC student experience
At UniSC students get to complete work integrated learning (WIL) as a part of almost every degree we offer. In 2024, more than 500 of our students will go on field trips to K’gari, the world’s largest sand island.
We also have some amazing partnerships such as the Dolphins NRL Team and the Sunshine Coast Lightning Suncorp Super Netball league Team where there are opportunities for students to complete placements.
Let the adventure begin!
