Choreographed and performed by Fiona Bryant, Second hand opera: Tatyana, the dance of takes its inspiration from the opera Eugene Onegin and is a meditation on the feelings the character Tatyana has about her dawning reality of love and life. The second-hand nature of the work can be ascribed to the perhaps debatable re-use of choreography from another dance work, and from the works motivation that is drawn from Arthur Boyd’s lithograph, Eugene Onegin currently on display at USC Art Gallery.
