From the Mountains to the Sea: Sunshine Coast Stories will launch the 50th Anniversary celebrations for the naming of the Sunshine Coast.
This collaborative exhibition focuses on broad Sunshine Coast historical themes, drawn from multiple museum collections, extending beyond local history over the last 50 years. The exhibition also includes community memories compiled from heritage film footage donated by the community and from the Heritage Library archives, and a commissioned film that looks at creative landscapes on the Sunshine Coast through the eyes of contemporary artists, authors and architects.
