About the Art Gallery
The University of the Sunshine Coast Art Gallery is a space where art, ideas and community come together. Located at UniSC Sunshine Coast, the Art Gallery was redeveloped in 2020 establishing itself as the leading regional university art gallery in Australia.
UniSC Art Gallery presents a program of exhibitions by leading local, national and international artists that are research-led, enquiry based and shaped by the university’s commitment to enabling opportunities for our communities to participate meaningfully with UniSC. The exhibition program is supported by an active publishing program that generates new scholarship as well as public programs and educational activities such as lectures, symposia, seminars, workshops and performances that offer opportunities for our diverse communities to access contemporary art and its ideas.
The Art Gallery is also responsible for the UniSC Art Collection. At over 1000 works, and with many displayed across UniSC’s multi-campus network, it is a culturally significant asset for our regions.
UniSC Art Gallery is a member of University Art Museums Australia.
