Gympie people aged from teenagers to seniors are encouraged to attend a Mid-Year Entry Information Evening at the University of the Sunshine Coast Gympie on Wednesday 27 May.

USC Gympie Manager Graham Young said anyone considering studying for a degree in second semester (starting late July) would be welcomed at the event from 5pm to 6.30pm at the Cartwright Road facility.

"If you want to find out about university life, switch your career or build on your existing occupation, USC staff will have plenty of information to steer you in the right direction," Mr Young said.

"Even if you think you aren’t eligible for university, ask about Tertiary Preparation Pathway (TPP), a program which provides alternative entry routes into degrees."

Programs available for mid-year entry at USC Gympie include Bachelor of Business, Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting), Bachelor of Nursing Science and TPP. Courses are also offered in Communication, Creative Industries and Social Sciences.
