Lyndon Davis is a well known Indigenous community representative on the Sunshine Coast. His involvement with the University over the years has been extensive. He has performed numerous Welcome to Country ceremonies at University events, and his Gubbi Gubbi Dance Company has performed at many significant University celebrations. Lyndon has contributed to the University’s Indigenous reconciliation and awareness activities through his involvement with the Buranga Centre and Art Gallery, and as a member of the Indigenous Advisory Committee. He has been a key contributor to our annual Indigenous Education Symposiums, and helps to raise awareness about the Indigenous culture by conducting workshops for our students.
