Sue brings significant depth of experience in financial leadership, strategic analysis and scenario planning through her career spanning government, higher education, and professional services. She is a Certified Practicing Accountant (Fellow), CPA, Australia, and her qualifications include a Bachelor of Business from QUT.
Sue has worked for Brisbane City Council, the largest local government in Australia, since 2010 where she has held a number of senior roles including Executive General Manager Commercial and Contract Services, Divisional Manager, and General Manager. Sue has provided leadership in change and transformation through these roles, including implementing modern technologies, systems and frameworks. Stakeholder and relationship management have also been critical to delivering successful outcomes in these roles.
Sue's career trajectory reflects her commitment to innovation and transformation. She has led numerous initiatives aimed at driving efficiency and identifying revenue growth opportunities. Her expertise in financial management, contract negotiation, and project delivery will be invaluable assets to UniSC as we navigate the evolving landscape of higher education.
