Ms Stephanie Menzies is an Associate Lecturer and First Year Lead in the School of Education and Tertiary Access. She has a background in primary school teaching, SPELD teaching and Reading Recovery Teaching. Stephanie is particularly interested in Play Based Learning and how it can be used in all levels of teaching to enhance the students learning experience. She co-ordinates and supports First Year activities to help students transition to university. Her background in implementing inclusive pedagogical practices in the New Zealand Education system has guided her to adopt a philosophy that respects, honours and celebrates diversity in all learners.
