Tripti Singh

Professor Tripti Singh has extensive background in timber durability and global reputation for science excellence. Tripti has been involved in wood product development and performance evaluation. She has been a Team Leader of several research groups at Scion Research and is a senior scientist. Prof Singh has a BSc in Chemistry, Botany and Zoology, an MSc in Biology and a PhD in Wood mycology from Lincoln University, New Zealand. Her quality scientific research and leadership has led her to various scientific boards and awards. Prof Singh has published extensively on the subject of timber durability and works closely with industry through her membership on joint Australia/New Zealand Committee Tm-012 as well as the Australasian Wood Preservation. She has also held leadership position in the International Research Group on Wood Protection and currently serves on the Executive Committee.
