Lia is currently completing her PhD at the Thompson Institute (UniSC) on the Longitudinal Adolescent Brain Study, and is due to complete her studies in July 2024. Her PhD investigates the neurological correlates of cyberbullying involvement in adolescence, using EEG and self-report measures. Prior to her PhD, Lia completed her Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) with UniSC in 2020.
Lia also works as a research assistant on LABS in a range of research activities, including conducting participant assessments, data management and administrative tasks.
