Leon practised law locally for over a decade in several of the Sunshine Coast’s biggest firms. He experienced a wide variety of legal practice but has special interest and focus on Commercial Law and Litigation, Contract Law, Property Law and Succession Law.
He has also taught extensively in secondary education and administration both in Australia and the United States and is one of the lead authors of the University of Cambridge Legal studies text for Queensland. Leon has also previously been the lecturer in charge of Legal Studies education for Teach for Australia and Master of Teaching Students at Australian Catholic University.
He is currently a PhD candidate with UniSC in the area of contact sports and concussion with a focus on potential liability of governing bodies particularly with reference to women and children.
