Dr Sheridan Rabbitt is the Centre Manager for the Australian Centre for Pacific Islands Research (ACPIR). She holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Science from The University of Queensland, and a PhD in marine social sciences from The University of Queensland. Sheridan has been working in the Pacific for eight years, and has worked extensively with local communities, NGOs, and governments in Solomon Islands and is fluent in Solomons Pijin.
