Dr Rob Buhmann joined the School of Health following completion of his doctorate at the Queensland University of Technology in 2019. He has experience teaching in the areas of Motor Control and Learning, as well as Anatomy, Functional Anatomy and Resistance Training. Prior to completing his PhD, Rob also worked as a strength and conditioning coach in Australian professional soccer.

Rob's PhD research investigated the neuromuscular function of the Hamstring muscle group following Hamstring strain injury. He maintains an affiliation with the QUT Hamstring strain injury research group, and has additional research interests in optimising rehabilitation for injury and neuromuscular adaptations to different modes of exercise.
