University preparation

Whether you are yet to start your uni studies, have just enrolled in your UniSC undergraduate program or have already been studying for a while, UniSC offers university preparation and support programs to get you on track.

UniSC Equip program

The UniSC Equip program is a series of free workshops where you'll gain the skills, direction, knowledge and confidence to take on your career and study goals. Specifically designed for adults thinking of taking the first steps to study at uni or TAFE, the program will help you better understand your uni options and prepare you for your future. You can complete one, two or all three workshops, depending on your needs and preferences.

Tertiary Preparation Pathway

If you are unable to gain entry to university through QTAC without first gaining additional qualifications, the Tertiary Preparation Pathway (TPP) can provide an entry pathway for you. If you already qualify for entry, TPP can upgrade your skills and knowledge to get you on track to succeeding in your university studies.

Skills preparation modules (for current students)

Brush up on your academic writing, study and proofreading skills offered as Academic Skills Workshops.

Tertiary Support Option (TSO)

The Tertiary Support Option (TSO) assists undergraduate students to successfully progress in their studies. Students who have already undertaken one semester of full/part-time study would benefit most from this option. However, some students in their first semester of study may benefit from a TSO course. Also, students experiencing challenges further into their undergraduate program, for example with Maths or Chemistry course content, may benefit from undertaking a relevant TSO course.
