Industry engagement

At UniSC, we believe that a better tomorrow is best achieved through collaborative partnership with our students, staff, community and industry.

Making impactful change through partnership

We can all benefit from the impact of this collaboration. This is why we strive to make industry engagement everybody’s business at UniSC.

Together we can broaden industry experience opportunities, enhance graduate employment outcomes, and leverage business and industry development opportunities that contribute to a better tomorrow.

Why partner with us?

In less than three decades, UniSC has grown from a single greenfield campus to a multi-campus university with over 18,000 students. As we continue to grow, our mission to enrich our regions, connect with our communities, and create opportunities for all, will be strengthened through increased engagement with industry and community.

Founded with a close alignment of values and expertise, a strategic partnership with UniSC can provide new opportunities and improved student success, growth in research activity and impact, and contribute to industry growth and prosperity locally and globally.

In our region

The Sunshine Coast Regional Economic Development Strategy (REDS) 2013 – 2033 was developed via a partnership between Sunshine Coast Council, State Government and local business and industry partners to guide and facilitate economic development in the region. After a period of significant growth and change within the region, a review of the REDS is currently underway. Michael Campbell from Lucid Economics facilitated consultations with local business and industry leaders that will help to inform the direction of the REDS. In this video, hear from Taksil Dias, UniSC.
