Program OverviewThe flexibility of your Accounting program allows you to custom-design your degree to suit your career aims and your personal interests. You can also study subjects from the faculties of Arts and Social Sciences and Science to qualify you in several areas. You have more choice, more control, and you will graduate with a more marketable degree. Business graduates who possess knowledge and skills within a professional specialist area complemented by a broad range of business disciplines are in great demand. You can enrol in a Bachelor of Business (Accounting), where your primary major is Accounting complemented by a second major or two minors from other disciplines such as Human Resource Management (minor with the Management Discipline), Management, Marketing, International Business or Tourism from the Faculty of Business or a language from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. This enables you to graduate with specialist knowledge backed by additional knowledge and skills in your chosen fields. Professional MembershipMembership with the Australian Society of Certified Practicing Accountants (CPA) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICA) in Australia is available to graduates from the University of the Sunshine Coast who have completed a major in Accounting.
