Psychology is the scientific study of human behaviour and mental processes. This course provides a coherent framework for understanding individual differences and the discipline of psychology, and familiarises students with the conceptual language and theoretical frameworks of the discipline. It introduces general research areas in developmental, social, biological, and health psychology as well as theories of personality, learning, thinking, memory, motivation, emotion, psychological disorders, and treatment
